Brucar originated in 2001 with a concept of changing the face of private hire with ground breaking technology and cost effective transport. Brucar was born as an off shoot from an already successful Brunel brand which originated as a corporate chauffeur drive product and now encompasses a total ground transport solution. Brunel's idea was simple, to drive the quality and standards of their chauffeur drive company into a newly formed minicab company and hence Brucar was born...

Brucar originally launched its service using the Mercedes A-Class with a distinct branding and marketing theme which included the BRU Number plate and Roof Signage. The business has since evolved and looked for avenues to not only grow the business but open its services to a wider range of people; the Toyota Prius was the perfect fit. We have since branded the vehicles with iconic brucar.com signage and withheld the marketing of the BRU Number plates.

Brunel is the corporate face of our executive fleet of vehicles, and brucar has been set up to attract a wider range of customers outside of the corporate world. The brunel corporate economy service just happens to be a brucar.
